Why do women agree to hookups and then ghost you?

Not once have I ever had a girl agree to hookup with me and then follow through. I've sexted girls, traded nudes, agreed a time and a place but every time, they end up ghosting me, or cancel on me multiple times before blocking me. Recently I even had a girl agree on a time and a day. We sent/traded nudes and everything. She even sent me her address (which I still have). Then the next day she cancelled on me saying she had a job interview. I told her that's fine and to let me know when she's available and that if she has any second thoughts to just let me know. She said "Don't worry, I'll let you know if I do." Then the next day I went to message her and saw that I was blocked. Girls? Why do you do this? I don't understand the point.

To be frank, maybe you just have bad luck. For no one to ever follow through is highly shocking, and I would be unhappy if I were in your position. Do not beat yourself up about it. Clearly these women are kinda rubbish for feeling the need to make excuses simply to justify ghosting you. I support people saying the word "no" if they decide they are not in the mood to hookup, but for someone to just make up an excuse to get out of it is wrong (at least in my opinion).

I don't feel like I do anything wrong. Everything is great and then they just disappear on me before we end up meeting up. Like next morning I'm blocked. Or they just stop responding completely before we end up meeting.
