Did your sister have her belly button pierced when your were growing up?

kind of a weird question maybe , i would of finished high school around 2003 and most of the girls back then at that school had there belly button pierced. my sister would of been a couple years younger , she never had hers done , seem to recall her wanting one but can't recall why as she never had any luck with ear piercings

our house was pretty dull , not religious but for a girl living there to have a belly piercing would of been different maybe partly why she never got one , honestly can't recall if any of her girlfriend's had one but girls her age at that high school did

guess i just wondered what others have experienced , how many had siblings who did this as its been a popular thing to do for some time now

that was before social media so not sure how i knew the other girls had one but recall seeing a lot of girls with this piercing at school. a couple of the girls who had one back then are now real estate agents , was also a beach near where we lived and would of saw some there

Ohh Im too old - 3 sisters , none done , it was not a thing back then , my girlfriend used to have but she took it out too , she is 39 years old.

it didn't really start to appear here in large numbers until the late 90's at least thats when i started to notice it , a lot of the girls i'd know in late 20's or 30's wouldn't have it anymore but did years ago

Yeah you are correct --
I was saying the other day , you used to go out and say heh " I had this babe , with 4 tattoos , and an awesome tramp stamp " , now its same if you do a cleanskin hahahahaha. ( Im talking tatts here not the belly button ) , often the two come together , not always.

My sister had one when she was younger, but she took it out when she got pregnant. I don’t even remember her having it tbh, I was pretty young myself.

if she had got it done would of likely been around 2004-5 when she was 16-17 , that would of been most likely age. when she went to university was a busy piercing / tattoo place near where she lived but i don't recall her ever mentioning anything about it and never appears to have been there
