How to get over this feeling this way?

Long story short.. I went and asked a girl for her number and a coffee date.. that went well.. was going to go for a second date.. then out of the blue I got a no romantic connection.. I got the blah blah lets me friends.. I like to be friends first and so on.. mind you this is a girl who is 31 and has a 10 year old kid.. when she was asking about me she's like "I don't think I'm going to let this one go" Anyways.. people at the job have been asking me I've seen the girl you have been hanging out with with another guy like a lot.. they take their lunches together and all. Now this guy just wanted to check off on his bucket list that he had sex with an Asian girl.
The new info I've heard was (she told me she doesn't drink) she went over to the guy's house and they had sex twice and she got so drunk that she passed out in the car.
The thing is now is up until like Tuesday she would smile at me like nothing happened but now I don't know if I pissed her off (don't care) but it's started to get so awkward at work now (by the way her and him work together) I remember asking her is it going to be awkward and she said no.
I don't get it.. OK so he's like a badboy type with like tattoos and all and me I'm a nice guy I told a friend that I feel like she might come crawling back or maybe not because the guy she's messing with right now will be leaving soon.
It's just so bad she will just walk right past me when I'm outside by myself.. I wonder if she feels guilty at all.

She's just not into "nice guys" it doesn't turn her on.

Also her poor decision to go with coworker thats just bad, but its their problem now.

Clearly I asked her if this would cause any awkwardness and she said no.. however she's pretty much making it that way now.. But yeah with her kid that's a pump and dump for sure.. I remember her telling me I should talk to her sister.. not only is she too young (27) she's too shy to even try to talk to.

Yeah it just sucks I was just shocked.. she snapped me today because she thought I threw something at her but it kinda tumbled in her direction. I don't hate her or anything but I'm not trying to be her friend.

I'm not worried about her but I'm just concerned about her interactions like another person said he doesn't agree with women working in the area she's at now.. for a good reason.
