Why do women I've been acquainted with say I'm unattractive whereas gorgeous men and players approach me and want to date me?

I was also married and was the one who left. Before I left, some women commented that they were surprised that I got married before them (likely because of how they think of my looks). They also tried to flirt with my ex husband and assess him. One was attempting to appear super smart around him - that was quite weird. I'm a professional but my academic smarts is not why the guy came after me.

Ironically, I've had women become quite intrusive or want to be in the know if they see I'm connecting with men. Some have also crowded around me and the guy while we'd be chatting 1:1. Find that to show disrespect. What are the motives of these women? Some strike me as attempting to be intimidating or bullying me.

Yes they were trying to bully you. They were so jealous to think that you are much beautiful and smart than them. They just want to ignore the fact and start to intimidate you so that you could loose confidence and never date. Just stat away from these "so called friends". They are a bunch of liers and hypocrite
