A girl rejected me a couple of years ago, but reached out?

Me and girl Met at college and instantly connected. She did shut me down when I confessed my feelings for her a couple of years ago. I was ok with that and cut off contact. I recently got a job at an equity-fund. She reached out and apologized for being mean to me and if I wanted to meet up. I know she had a crush on me back then and maybe I came on to strong. I miss her, but dont want to seem like I accept her behavior. Why reach out now?

It's not because of your job. If you knew she actually had a crush on you it's most likely because you came on too strong. BUT she should of said something like let's take it slow... get to really know eachother first. At least that's something I'd do

Ah I see. What do you think when a guy comes on too strong? We lived in different cities then, but I know she got a job in my city now. Could that have something to do with it? We are both in mid-late 20s.

Nope it's a coincidence.. when a guy comes on too strong I get turned off or scared of the guy. It's a bit immature and I've grown a lot since then if I was at least attracted I'd like to get to know him more

Honestly it's hard to say why she reached out but probably is because he missed you. Maybe she realized that she wants to come close after all that time and that's why she reached out.

I don’t think u should tbh. She probably got rejected by someone she liked more and is now interested cuz of it.
