Is silence normal, or is that a way of No interest?

How do you treat a person that is showing no interest but claiming to be in so much love with you that it drives you crazy being around them because there is no kind of conversation or positive relationship, no how was your day, where were you, what were you doing all day, nothing. When you try and conversate with them they snap at whatever your asking , acuse you of talking shit or say stop complaining when you thought you just saying whatever is on your mind. How do you deal with this do you just let it be and brush it off like they are saying it's nothing or do I address it till things feel normal again?

I had someone similar too. Since she is showing no interest, I decided to show no interest too. We haven't talked for 1 year already.
