Over the past few months, I was using a dating app called Tapple, a local one here in Japan.
While I was on there, I matched with an older woman who we'll call S.
She and I have quite a bit in common, as we both speak each others' languages, have a shared passion for travel, among a few other things, and although her reply time was a bit inconsistent (ranged from a few minutes to three days), she always did her best to put effort into her replies.
One day, I asked if she was game to exchange social media, and she said yes, to which I gave her my instagram user. Almost immediately after, she completely stopped talking to me. Two or three weeks passed without so much as a word from her, and I deleted my account last week due to frustrations with the app.
To my shock, she ended up adding me on instagram two days ago, and we've been talking again, though as usual she's a bit slow at replying, due to being busy, though she does pop on every now and then on Instagram without reading my messages and such. Should I keep at this? Curious to hear everyone's take on this, as I am pretty confused by the mixed signals on her end.
