I don't mind if the person I happen to be with decides to pee in the shower because I do it also. Some people think it's gross, I really don't care one way or another as long as it's below my neck. You can rinse the "golden shower" off seeing as how you're in there with water on! I do have a friend who thinks it's gross/not normal so I either urinate before he's in bathroom or wait until he gets out.

I think when it comes to swimming pool and public areas and hygiene you can walk at the bathroom. How can someone possible pee in a swimming pool.. what’s the point of Gucci underwear’s and acting modern or shiny toilets at this point. With this logic We can just pee at the elevator at this point if it comes right? Lol.
It's completely fine for both my partners and I to pee in the shower. Pee is basically made of water and water-soluble components. A simple rinse will wash it down the drain.
You shouldn't worry about it being unhygienic. A shower is very far from a sterile environment, and the human skin is already a huge carrier of bacteria. Urine is just as hygienic as water that runs on your skin.
Just make sure to rinse well to avoid any unpleasant smell. The "fishy" smell will start once pee is exposed to the open, and bacteria can break down the urea into ammonia. I'm not squeamish, but I definitely don't like stale pee in my bathroom.
Really so you never find hair in your shower or see the water stains it creates on walls and along edges, those would contain urine and other body fluids, and that would change the smell of the room for sure.
Didn't your mother ever teach you basic manners? And it doesn't all go down, eventually your shower will start to stink or you have to clean it more often.
Absolute nonsense! Urine is actually much cleaner than saliva. So guess spitting in the shower is ALSO off limits? Not to mention, the skin has tons of bacteria and other pathogens that end up in the shower as well. Nothing wrong with urinating in the shower and it will NOT start to stink!
@Esbatmad If you pee in the shower then you are not any more civilised than Indians pooping on the street. You just don't smell it because you are so used to the smell but your guests will. No to mention how much you smell.
