Assuming it’s someone you have seen a lot but dont really know them

a girl i barely know did that to me while we were talking, like just a normal convo.

she first grabbed my upper arm and kind of pulled me towards her and the wall behind us, so that both of us were near the wall and she was really close to me. Then she put her hand on my stomach which made me really nervous and I leaned away to create some gap between her hand and my stomach.

She noticed the gap and put her hand again on my stomach while just staring into my eyes. I didn't have the guts to look at her so i just looked down at the floor while she did all of that.

why did she do that?

So odd. Not sure why anyone would do that especially are you moved it was a clear indication that it made you uncomfortable. It violated your personal space.

The thing is i moved back because i got really nervous. I got nervous because i like her and didn't expect her to touch my stomach.

The day before this happened she has asked me why i get so nervous around her. I told her “i dont know” (didn't tell her the truth) and she said “do you feel nervous around girls? Have you never talked to them? Dont you have a girlfriend?”.

And then the next day the touching stuff that i wrote happened.
I don't know if she was showing interest or if im misreading.

How can you tell that she is showing interest? Maybe she is just very friendly. Tbh i dont even know her that well. We talked like 3 times total very briefly before this stuff.

I thought she was being friendly.

I asked my sister to get some help and she told me that she gave me a hint by touching my stomach. I asked her what kind of hint and she said “the other type of hint”.

Yes from my experience BUT I have taken her hand and held it…. And later in an evening taken her hand and “you liked my stomach so reach in here and see how deep my pockets are…and money clip where it is.” So, I know that I did not misinterpreted the stomach rub in my particular case.
