How do I know if she likes me or not?

She told me to ask her any question i wanted to ask her so i asked her questions about her so i would know her better and than we went silent for a bit and she said she likes me but i told her i dont like her back but i do. I just dont know if she's telling the truth or not because a lot of girls did that to me and when i said i liked them back the next day they told everyone. I like her a lot but i just dont understand her because sometimes she acts like she doesn't like me and we will never be together and sometimes she acts like were a couple.
