Why would a girl who has crush on me avoid me and ignore my friend request?

This girl showed every sign that she really really likes me (did not verbally confirm though).

I wasn’t “available” for two months, so I never made a move on this girl. I became available ten days ago, and tried to talk to her. She seemed frustrated and impatient at the end of the conversation and walked away before I had a chance to ask her out. I friended her on facebook a week ago, which she did nothing about.

I know sometimes a girl would move on if you don’t show interest fast. However, it feels like something else with this girl. She was actually still interested when talking to me ten days ago, her impatience started to become obvious during the conversation when I started to flirt with her for the first time ever. I can feel her frustration and impatience slowly building up during the past two months, but me showing interest was like a trigger for her to dump those emotions out.

So, was she 1) never interested, 2) already moved on that day, 3) punishing me for taking so long, 4) just looking for attention?

You say “she showed every sign” but you gave no evidence/examples. So you’re just going based off your own thoughts.

I didn’t give too much info because I want the question to be concise and I don’t need help with something I’m certain about. But here is one of the many “signs” because several replies are lashing out on this point. Almost makes me feel guilty now for even dare to assume a lady was interested. Speaking of internet bullying.
The first time I met her, we had a small conversation as strangers in a coffee shop. As I walked home, she followed me. I stopped for three times along the way, allowing her to pass me, but for three times she stopped right next to me, smiling at me and said “are you going home?”. And when I arrived, I told her “this is where I live”, she smiled at me for a minute while I was being silent. Then she said she actually lives on the other side of the coffee shop and walked back.
Another “sign” is that she once asked me if I want to go to her place, while licking her finger when asking me. This happened the third time I met her, when I didn’t know her well enough to be a friend. and she is not promiscuous towards others as far as I noticed.
I mentioned that her interest was never verbally confirmed, because that is the fact. It is a possibility considering the confusing situation I’m in right now. But I think it is at least safe to assume a girl is interested if she did these “signs”.

Those behaviors are quite odd…maybe she wanted to have sex¿ I can’t tell you what went through her head. But I wouldn’t be so quick to jump to conclusions just yet

It is quite odd. I’m very confused. But I think it is wise to not make any further move, and just be friendly. She should come forward if she is still (or ever was) interested.

Thanks for the insight. I was wondering if she was only looking for attention, because she is a little out of my league. But it also seemed like she was interested at least in the beginning. So probably moved on

“This girl showed every sign”, so you assumed she liked you based off your own interpretation of all her actions? So many things can be clarified with a simple conversation, because as a woman let me say that too many times you men are wrong. Ou think we mean A when really it’s a hard B, but because we are giving you attention and what it you take it the wrong way. It’s so hard to make make friends because of this.

It sounds like she showed every sign and you blew her off. She's not going to give you that opportunity again.
