I live with my roommates for few months and I realized she never wear socks. I think it's ok during summer but she also wears sneakers and winter boots barefoot.
She says she stopped wearing socks little by little when she was 12/13 because she found them useless. Now she thinks she wore a pair of socks for the last time when she was 16.
At home she's always barefoot. What is funny is that she sometimes wear gloves inside because her hands are cold but wears no socks.
She says she doesn't remember how it feels to wear socks but she's sure she wouldn't like it because her feet are used to feel the inside of the shoe or the floor of the appartement. People often asks her why she doesn't wear socks especially when she has to remove her shoes at someone's house. That bothers her because it's very normal to her.
