Why does my coworker repeat what I say?

I have a female coworker…who repeats what I say…in her normal voice not a mocking one. She used to do this, stopped but has repicked up the habit. I think out loud so I tend to walk and talk…and I noticed she repeats what I say when I’m thinking out loud. Also when I’m bored I make random noises which she also repeats. It doesn’t bother me if anything it makes me laugh and smile… because I just hear this small echo in the distance. Just curious as to the cause of the habit?

Honestly that doesn't sound like something common at all, it's so weird I would rather think about a condition, maybe she has OCD, Tourette, or is in the autistic spectrum, since all of them can bring this phenomena called "echolalia".

Normally, nobody does that because it would sound like you are making fun of them and in general you would be perceived as weird by everyone else noticing this pattern, or at least confronted at some point, getting questioned about the why.
I doubt someone 20+ has such clueless and low communication/social skills to find it an "appropriate" way to get attntion, not even an early teenager would... That's why I think she has some condition attached to echolalia.
