Why has she cut me off suddenly, emotionally and otherwise as well?

So I met a girl online, we shared a great bond, we saw a great potential in each other for a relationship and had decided to meet as well after a few months since she live a bit far away, but was going to shift to a city nearby soon. We had a great vibe together, shared a lot of similarities, were vulnerable, emotionally open, sexually open. We talked on call for almost 2-3 hours everyday, and more on some occasions for around 4 months, and texted each other in the rest of the time. We watched movies together, listened to songs together, shared everything to with each other, cared for each other too. It has always been a two way street for the both of us, neither of us was cold or unavailable for anything, whatever was felt or done was mutual.

Suddenly since the beginning of last month, she said I want to stay alone, and enjoy alone for a bit. I initially thought this can be a short phase wherein she feels to enjoy some 'me time'. But then it didn't end, which made me anxious. I asked her if things have changed, if she doesn't like me anymore, or maybe something else has happened wherein it triggered something and she had second thoughts about us. She refused, saying things haven't changed, we're still friends, don't dream too much about the future. But then the emotional intimacy, the conversations, even the friendship, has gone missing somewhere. We haven't even had a decent conversation in the past 40 days as I type this. We haven't called each other, neither have we talked beyond a single topic.

I think of 2 possibilities:

1) She got a crush on someone else, or got someone else to talk with a lot, but they didn't declare to each other yet so in her head that is just a friendship. When things happen so suddenly, and there was no argument or anything to point the finger against, usually it's because someone else suddenly joined the scene. If that is the case, she is spending her time thinking about him, or talking with him. That could be a new person or even an ex. Do you remember when (I assume), at the very beginning, you and her were enthusiasts of each other, conversating so well, knowing each other so quickly, becoming the main ones for each other so quickly? Well, she is capable of the same speed in bonding with others, and maybe it didn't start as something romantic so she didn't think it was wrong.

2) You lost the balance, you are very needy, shown her how you get triggered if her attention is missing multiple times (and not viceversa) and now she accumulated so much bad feedback about this that all she feels is tension and is pressured about reciprocating your needs like a duty and not a pleasure anymore. You said you talked for 2-3 hours per day and texted for the rest of the day, that is really really a lot to endure in the long term, but maybe she understood that is a requirement because you shown signs of unsettlement when things weren't perfectly that intense. Being needy, clingy, or putting too much effort without theirs, is what puts off people the most, makes them disconnect, and that takes a long time to recover (if ever) because the person "learnt" how you work by feedbacks and they will remember that for long. But that is usually a bit more gradual.
If this is the case, she is now taking her space back and doesn't see you as valuable as before anymore.
Maybe she is complete crap at communication and keeps telling you the lie that everything is still the same, which is contraddicted by facts and by a lot. Or maybe she learnt how triggerable you are, and wants to avoid conflict.

I exclude she is too focused on something she is enjoying too much (videogames, tutorials etc) because she would mention that, and I exclude she is just an avoidant who needs a lot of space alone to recharge and who escapes at the first bad signals, because she would have warned you I guess, after problems with other guys, unless that was her first romantic experience.
I exclude them because she said how you are "friends" and how you "shouldn't dream about the future", that means she doesn't see you like relationship material anymore and doesn't see a future.
Both cases you shouldn't be forced to overthink, she should respect you by making an effort and understanding why she got detached and giving an explanation to you, not vague things like "we are still friends" and bullshit of this sort. She was part of this relation too, it's also her responsibility to take charge of how things are going. Of course she noticed how things are now drastically changed, it's the objective reality on what you "do", so it's not like she didn't "notice", of course she does.
In the meanwhile you decide how to face this talk, don't contact her if she doesn't first, don't reply with long things to her texts, don't look like you are always waiting for her messages, and be genuinely busy with other things and other people.

As much as people “think” they’re creating this bond with someone online, it’s not the same as bonding in real life.

Perhaps, she simply got cold feet. It could be something was not truthful in the things she said
