I was curious so, I shaved `em one night about 10 years ago and I was perfectly fine with it until I went to work the next day and started busting ass and sweating. THEY WERE ON FIRE THE REST OF THE DAY!!! The ONLY thing I found that I could do to at least quell it just a bit was to get a couple sheets of paper towel (the kind on a roll in the bathroom), fold them into a couple of 3" squares and put one in each of my pits!
A day or two later I mentioned this to a girl I knew and she kinda laughed and said, "You get used to it." Well, a few days ago, I shaved my face before getting a shower and then did a little running around in a store and got a bit sweaty under my neck from doing that and my neck was starting to burn the same way! I've been shaving for the past 40-some years!! If, after over 40 years of it, my neck is still burning when I get sweaty, OBVIOUSLY, I'm NOT getting used to it!!
I shave under my arms because they are so harry and my smell is much better when it is clean up under arms. I use Dial soap and have had no problems at all.

Fresh razor? Are you sensitive to the soap or shaving cream? Were you rough? Was it cold, could you have had goose bumps? These all contribute. I just shaved and felt nothing, as usual.
Iāve shaved them every time I shower for years and donāt remember that at all! And I use menās razors tooā¦
