A lot of women today expect that their man needs to make 6 figures to be considered husband material. Some women even expect men to make 8 figures in order to be considered worthy to be with them. Do you think this is too much or reasonable?
I don't think those things are delusional. However, if most girls are thinking this way as a collective then yeah I think it is not realistic. Simply because most of them will be people with average results themselves. They have less value to give. People always are going to want the most value they can get; above average value. And value is anything. The habit of smiling and kindness can be value to some. But even that most people are average at or offer at average rates.
Everyone is worthy of everyone. You're not better than the hobo you saw and he/she isn't better than you. Your results are better. Your conditioning is more conducive to preferable results.
One has to understand how mating works. There are 3 things that govern mating success:
1. The need/demand for what you offer (Males love beauty - 1 example)
2. The quality of what you offer (10 is better than an 8 - 1 example)
3. The difficulty there is in replacing you (10 is hard to replace due to quantity)
Anyway, the point is most aren't a match and I understand girls can get a pass for their results as long as they have pretty looks but still most girls have average looks.
Those demands aren't delusional to the girl who is working toward being a match or who has a lot of beauty. You should go after what you want but understand there are more men without those results than with those results. Also understand the hobo man is equal to the 8 figure man. One has better results and a better way of living/operating/conditioning.
As a man, I've realize a girl that has looks of a 6 or 7 and also has courteous and kindness (most don't, seriously) is much easier to find than a girl with looks of a 10 with those qualities.
Well, if they're in, say, Tokyo, then yes- 100,000 yen is like $750. That's not a good salary; slapping on two more zeroes gets you a much more comfortable 75 grand; more money than I've ever been making (then again, costs of living are much lower here.
Of course, you didn't mean in other currencies; you meant in US dollars, and probably only those figures LEFT of the decimal point, in which case yes, that's ludicrous. Fundamentally, these women are either gold-diggers or high-cost whores. The easiest way to tell is to ask what they're bringing to the table in exchange for those eye-watering financial requirements.
Not all women are like this. Majority I know are not. I could happily live in a tent if I had to if I had a partner I loved. Not once have I ever questioned someone elses money, let alone someone i'm dating. I think this may be more of a male insecurity that has been created by tradtional stupid societal expectations. If you meet a woman who cares how much you make bin her! or tell her to go get a 6 figure job

In most western countries, for lower-mid to middle class households... both adults need to be working. It's not really feasible for one to work and the other to not, unless you live in a ghetto.
Women also do not understand what high value men, value and most of them don't have the right traits.
Additionally, Lets say hypothetically... a high net worth man did go for the woman who's only redeeming quality / point she is trying to sell is her body / looks. Who is putting such a massive price tag upon herself for dating.
