I'll give you a quick example, I used to sing and post my self on social media singing, girls would compliment me and ask to meet up. But if those girls never knew I could sing and I messaged them first, they would be turn off by a guy liking them first.

seeing someone in rl and the way they are gives you better idea about them, many people find musicians attractive as they may have music interest as well or find that man to be important, sucessful or interesting

That's still doesn't change the fact that girls select for men we don't like them or even know that they exist. Cause I never understood why girls would be turned of by guy's that like them first

I thought I was being clear, girls tend to like guys that don't care about them, and are turn of when I guy shows interest. I don't know if that's natural in women but it seems to pop up a lot.

If a girl likes a guy and he shows interest she will not be turned off. But I think in general people do tend to want what they can't have.
