I have PTSD and have random outbursts when I’m alone. I worry that my neighbors can hear and judge me. Should I address it to them if they ask?

so sorry to hear, that is your mind working out the trauma. you need to work it out, talk it out, cleanse this out. maybe a support group, writing, journaling, helping others with similar, pet therapy, prayer, etc.. many things you can try.

I suggest seeking help. As to your neighbors don't worry about it. You'd have to have the windows open or be as load as a forklift to get through two houses walls and the space between them.

I honestly feel so out of character. I’m normally just fine and quiet, shy. Especially when I’m with people. They’d never guess what I’m suffering with. I just get really angry and kind of shout something random about it in an angry tone. Usually about the guy who raped me, or someone who’s a nuisance in general like calling him names.
I feel like it comes in and out out of my control. Maybe I have schizophrenia. It’s concerning. Once I snap out of it I am fine.

Doesn't sound like schizophrenia to me. Your outbursts seem like a physical or verbal outpouring of your mental state. Which is completely understandable and normal given what you've been through. I cannot stress enough that you should go and talk with a psychologist. They will help you process and work through the trama. It will be hard work but I can personally ensure you that you will feel better after working through the trama than you would otherwise.

If you don't know where to go to talk to someone or need help finding where to start I suggest going to talk to a doctor. They can give you a reference to a local psychologist office. Or if your uncomfortable talking to a doctor you can Google "psychologists near me" most sites will allow you to look through staff at an office and will give you a short summary of their background and specialtys.

Thanks so much for the help. Yeah it’s really awful. I genuinely like hurt myself and get really worked up over things even if they’re small. I just feel pushed to the edge sometimes.

Also, they haven’t moved out and they’ve lived here as long as me. Also the one guy is usually up front if something is wrong with someon (ie confronting a girl once about sleeping in the hallway).

If your hand will hurt then it's most likely not paper walls so they probably can't hear through, I can literally punch a hole through the wall and my arm would go through it, one final test tho, with your nail can you sink it into the wall a bit if you push into it?

Honestly I just scream things like BITCH and Slut a lot. Maybe it’s just an anger issue and not cuz of my ptsd. People piss me off so much especially on the phone. Especially those stupid recorded lines and the automated bitch goes “sorry I didn’t understand that”

Wonder if there’s a call dial option or app to exclude all the garble and just get to the point. Some calls go on for like 15 minutes. Like with customer service and other calls made about inconveniences. Hell no no one has time for that.
