Girls, Girls: do you wish you were more covered at the beach and pool?

Girls swimwear covers so little. It seems like it would be embarrassing to wear.

I always feel bad when I see some little girl who's at the beach or pool with her dad, brothers and possibly male cousins. The males will all be covered to their knees while the poor little girl will be attempting in vain to pull down the back of her suit so that it actually covers her butt.

I suppose it depends on the person. When I was 9, I literally took my suit off in a crowded public pool because I found it in the way and uncomfortable.

I learned I can swim and move so much faster in water without anything.

My family was very open about nudity not being a bad thing though. At the same time, if it is a problem it is easy enough for a girl to wear a long shirt over everything. I've done that before in some cases, I see it all the time too.

I never worn a two piece or any kind of bathing suit at the beach or swimming pool for that reason. It has always been capris and a short sleeved shirt, especially since I don't have the body type to rock that stuff.

I applaud women that are confident though to wear things like that.

Not really, theyre different types of swimsuits girls can get, like one pieces that have shorts and sleeves, cover ups also exist too

Not really. Also males are not covered to their knees, they wear short shorts and nothing on top 😂
