Are guys not allowed female friends anymore, I'm confused?

If you want to make friends, you need to turn off your devices and GO OUTSIDE and meet local people out in the world. True online friendships are rare, and mostly can't be planned or sought - they happen organically, by chance.

Your odds of success are hundreds of times better by going to the grocery store or the local shopping area and walking around. You are much more likely to meet a friend at a restaurant, movie theater, or ice cream shop than an app, and they will be LOCALLY, so you could actually spend real time with them and do things together.

The idea that you can live your life online is just a lie that the app companies want you to believe because it makes them money. It's an illusion. Don't fall for it.

All those apps will be turned into of promotion of OF account, hookups and similar. Full of bots and scammers. It's just how internet are these days. No matter what the intention of the app author was. Women are always craving validation and they don't get that from a platonic guy friend.

First off, what "friendship app" are you using? If it was a legit friendship app, or the women are honestly looking for friendship, that shouldn't be an issue.

Meaning those women are on that site looking for relationships, NOT friendships! There are plenty of women that yes, just want platonic friendships with guys and nothing more.

Okay so looked that up as I've never heard of wink- interesting.

I also read the reviews and while yes, it is meant to help find friends, several people left reviews saying how it's mostly full of bots, spammers, or people looking for hookups

So yeah... sorry, lol. You can make friends on there, but it's not ideal. I'd try other sites or apps and specify up front you JUST want a friendship
