This is a question for both men and women. How do you feel about women who are put together and more on the quiet side than the rest of the crowd. I'm not saying shy. Just quiet. Only talks when she has something useful to say.
Nothing specific. A quiet woman is not always necessarily going to be someone who's insightful or thoughtful, that's a stereotype. Same can be said about a quiet man. You still have to vet them well at the end of the day like anyone else to see if they match your values and views.
I will say though that me being an introvert, I just know I won't click with someone who's loud and talkative because of how much I find them annoying. A quiet girl will be more ideal because she is more likely to give my my space when I need it. I hate clingy people who don't let others breathe without bothering them.

@Jamie05rhs I don't struggle in that department. I'm what some might call "a social introvert" although it might come with limitations. The difference between me and an extrovert is that extroverts run on unlimited energy, while I have a finite supply. Call it a battery if you will, but once that battery runs over, I go into hibernation mode. A girl who talks all the time will completely use all of my energy that I would rather spend somewhere else, and doing that 24/7 is just a pain. I've never been shy, I just don't care about many people and I like to do things that aren't exhausting. If I'm in the mood to talk, I can carry the conversation even with the most talkative person, but at some point I need to go back to rest.

+1 yThe first though is-she must have been through lot of things.
Second thought is-she is definitely not shy. Maybe I can learn something from her. Quite resourceful she may be.
Third thought i (if she is really reserved in speaking) is-i think it is better for me to leave her. Anyhow she is not talking that much. Maybe she is just not interested in talking with me. Fine then. Let's go.

+1 yIt depends whether she is quiet out of appreciation for others or whether she is quiet out of depression and fear. Just like shining yellow could be real gold worth thousands or fake gold made from glazed silver paint.

We have a restaurant in Corona Del Mar... called The Quiet Woman. The figure on the door of a woman has no head! Apparently no one takes offense with that kind of implied misogynist intent, as the place is always packed on weekends... They have great food..
I personally like a talkative woman.....
10 ReplyThere's nothing wrong with that at least until she starts expecting me to read her mind. As long as she still speaks up when she has something to say, we'd get along fine.
An effective communicator doesn't need to be loud and obnoxious.
00 ReplyI like that type of women because she's usually very smart listened and learns can see and feel things deeper than most people
Usually a deeper and more passionate intense lover a kinder heart it's actually the type of girl I look for10 ReplyNo problem with quiet women. It's the quality of the talk and not the quantity!

Small talk annoys me! I'd rather not talk if we're just going to talk about BS.
I say if she knows you well, then being quiet means that she trusts you and is being really peaceful with you
20 ReplyI completely get it. That's how I am. Why talk to make noise? We talk to communicate ideas. I can't talk when there's nothing to say.

+1 yI've generally liked them. It feels kind of tough to try and get to know them, but they've been nice enough women to interact with.

+1 yI don't mind it, really. Though it might be hard to achieve flow in a conversation, at least in the initial stages but once it's going it usually some depth to their thinking. I like conversational depth and complexity.
00 ReplyThere are extravert people and introvert people.
As long as she's not being quiet because of some trauma or so... I'm fine with it.
In fact, since I'm an introvert person myself, I even prefer introverts over extraverts.00 ReplyWomen means 'already married'to me.
Regarding bachelorettes, girls: I prefer quiet and introverted (but smart) to loud and allegedly extroverted (e. g. annoying)10 Reply
+1 yDepends on the situation, if I'm on a first date with a girl and have to do all the talking, then that can get very annoying.

I'm not saying quiet when you're together or on a date. More like when you're in a group of people.
