It's not true that a girl will never initiate contact. Some girls are shy and may be afraid to make the first move, but there are also plenty of girls who are confident and outgoing and will not hesitate to reach out to someone they're interested in. If you're interested in a girl, it's always worth a shot to reach out to her first. You never know, she might be just as interested in you as you are in her.
