Why do people go to the toilet while the toilet seat is down?

• it doesn't make sense , it moves around and it's uncomfortable to sit on it
• plus , why do people use toilet paper instead of water (the toilet sprayer thingy)? the feeling in your butt dry is really disgusting and it's unhygienic

when someone leaves it DOWN i get mad but I usually hear people saying the opposite 💀 it just doesn't have a nice feeling when u sit on it 🙂

Well for one, the seat keeps you from falling into the toilet, so unless you are really fat or have a really tiny toilet, you need the seat down to be able to use it.

Secondly, the spray thingy is called a bidet (pronounced biday), and they are very unhygienic. The bidet collects fecal bacteria from prior use, and the spray splatter combined can cause a genital infection, as can having your ass stay wet. You WANT your butthole to be dry after you are done, just to avoid that.

no i didn't mean the bidet lol , it's the handle thingy (spray splatter) , the bidet is uncomfortable to wash with
and no one falls into the toilet seat , never happend to me , literally mo one falls unless they'r blind or something
after spraying with water u dry with toilet paper , but drying when your butt isn't clean is gross

Thats still a bidet its just a different kind, either way they both cause the same problem, wetting the area like that makes cleaning it way harder and risks infection, every woman I know who sprays their ass with those things when they poop, ended up having to take antibiotics for vaginal bacterial infections because it sprays fecal bacteria all over the place to use those.

People don't fall into the toilet because they all use the seat lol. Without the seat, the toilet bowl opening is wider than the average person's butt, so most people literally cannot sit on it without the seat down, unless they are obese, or have an unusually small toilet.

Plastic is warmer to sit on them ceramic, for one, and is designed for your bottom. But I don't know the history. May be wind resistance :-).

The water spray - I guess you mean bidet - is not common where I am but in theory does seem cleaner than toilet paper although some paper is soft and absorbant. Wash you hands appropriately!

Most women complain endlessly about the toilet seat being left up so you're the odd one out there.

If your toilet seat moves around, its because its a poorly designed toilet seat. Toilet seats are mostly made of plastic, because it has low thermal conductivity, so when you seat on it, its not that cold as it could be with a different type of material.

Using a paper is for sure gross, and it does not make sence. In muslim countries people use bidet to clean their butt. I think we should do the same.

Question about this? By using it up I presume you squat? And if you squat why even lift it up? But just womdering why not just clean the seat and use it then you dont have to hold a squat for however long? And where im from there aren't hoses beside toilets

Because I like the squat ting toilet much better more comfortable and the water get u cleaner plus it feels really good mmmm
