Long story short: Met a girl at the gym, we dated for sometime it didn’t work out because I went back with an ex and she moved on two years ago. We tried seeing each other again once were single a year later and we couldn’t make our schedules work and I moved on. Then a month ago a friend that works at the gym reconnected me to her she would freeze up and get sad every time my name was mentioned.
Anyway my friend was a great wingman and encouraged me to reach out to her so I did on her birthday and made a casual light conversation on Instagram saying happy birthday how’ve you been? She responded 7 hours later saying Thanks! I’ve been good
I responded the next morning because I was asleep saying My pleasure…that’s great, what’s it like being a Pharmacist?”
She responds an hour later saying:
Stressful! Lol
I respond two hours later (because I’m busy):
Oh really haha what makes it stressful?
And I’ve been waiting over a day now to respond, she hasn’t opened my message yet to read it and respond. I haven’t said anything but she use to do this when we dated and even going days before getting back to me but the convo was romantic.
I’m trying to ease my way into talking again and making it casual that will lead up to me going out with her but I don’t understand why she’s playing the waiting game? She’s intentionally posting stories while watching mine fast but not responding yet, pretty bizzare
