I am saying this tongue in cheek but I have actually used male restrooms when the line to the women's was out the door and I couldn't wait.

Is it finally equal justice?

Like now the guys can stand in line behind us to see what we have been going though all these years? lol

I've been in concert situations where the men's rooms were co-opted for the women because there weren't enough women's restrooms. I think rational management does rational things. And it takes 11 seconds because men don't wash their hands and they unzip it and flip it.

Women have more acreage to wipe off and also have to pull down entire parts of their wardrobes to pee. This is why it takes far longer. We also wash our hands and fix hair and makeup and readjust clothes. Time-consuming. Men are in for the whizz alone. Flow and go.

Well biological reality is what it is. That said, I can sort of sympathize, because for some reason whenever "nature calls", and I have to go any place but my home, it is always a #2 or a #3, that is, 1 plus #2. Don't ask me why; I don't know why.

Now, why IS there a long line at the bints? What the fuck are y'all doing in there that takes so fucking long? The reason there's no lines at the men's rooms (usually) is because we go in, take care of business and then walk out! You girls go in there and throw out a blanket on the floor with a huge basket of food and have a picnic for an hour before you come out! Or, do they have some sexy guy in there that you all have to take turns fucking before you come back? Maybe a couple fucking machines in there! How long does it take you to piss? Do you have big long lines at home, too? Go to someone's house for a huge party and there's a 2-mile long line of women waiting outside the shitter. The men are dancing with each other because they can't find a woman! They're all at the bathroom!!

Actually been to several sporting events where women used the men's room because the women's was too packed.

The men were quite ok with it - the women usually asked before entering - and no one raised a fuss.

Fortunately not so many women wanted to use the men's, so the men's line never got out of control.

Honestly if a high capacity venue does gendered washrooms, they need to design women's washrooms larger than the men's and gender neutral/family ones.

I'd have no problem with coed restrooms... but I suspect that many women would.

One place I worked at had a woman named Judy who cleaned the restrooms. She occasionally would walk in while one of us guys was peeing, be embarrassed, and said she'll come back later. We knew she was married with kids, and we said "there's nothing you haven't seen before." She nodded, and retorted, "Yes, but that doesn't mean I want to look at it."

I've never cared. In college I lived in a co-ed by floors dorm. When girls were visiting on our floor they'd use our bathrooms all the time. No one cared except a few shy geeks. Men don't use the stalls unless they have to take a dump or the urinals are full, so if you ladies gotta go, have at it.

My fav thing to say to women waiting on those long lines is " so what's more important now - multiple orgasms or peeing standing up"? LOL You can guess their replies!

I went on a winery tour not long back and that was the only restroom that was in the castle. Shared a sink with a gal. It's normal.

Many of the elementary schools here have swapped to co-ed restrooms. Every stall is private from ground to ceiling completely and shared sinks. It's safer too, because staff doesn't have awkward question who can enter if there ever was an issue.

It's happened frequently. In fact it's culturally acceptable for a woman to walk into a man's bathroom despite men's being far less private in many cases.

I hate public restrooms. I do my best to avoid them, but if you have no choice... I only use them to piss that's it. Mens bathrooms are disgusting especially when you go out to a club or a bar on a weekend. Keep them separate.
