Why is she leaving me on delivered but initiating/asking questions?

I have a friend who I slept with for the first time last week. We would text every night until late prior to this and on the weekends through the day.
since sleeping together she doesn’t stay up late to text and she didn’t text me during the day at the weekend. She has been leaving my messages on delivered all day too whereas before if she fell asleep she would at least look at them in the morning.
She has in the evening initiated conversation by texting first and has steered the conversation in a sexual manner though.
I'm confused why she would show interest but leave my messages on delivered/not text so much?

Eh man that's kinda weird behavior from her. My best guess would be she's feeling a little awkward or unsure about things after you guys hooked up. Sometimes girls can get in their heads about stuff like that and don't know how to act. My advice would be don't dwell on it too much or take it personally. She's still initiating chats with you even if they're more flirty than deep convos. I'd just play it cool, go with the flow in your messages but don't be hitting her up nonstop if she's leaving you on delivered. Maybe ease up on texting her first for a bit, let her come to you more. She could be wanting space to process her feelings without constant contact. As long as she keeps chatting with you some, I wouldn't stress. Give it time, things might get more normal once the newness of sleeping together wears off a little. Don't chase, let her come to you and see what happens.
