Why am I more confident around a girl after she rejects me?

Yo man, I feel you on that one. Nothing makes you feel more confident with chicks than when one rejects you at first.

It's like, once you've taken that rejection and survived, you realize it's not the end of the world. You stay cool, not all desperate and clingy anymore.

Plus you know she saw how much fun and high status you are before. Now you don't care if she likes you back - you're showing her and yourself you'll be fine either way.

No wonder she starts wanting you again! She sees how in demand you must be to other girls if you're not fazed by her rejection.

And you're right to not go back - she had her chance! Don't make it too easy on her now or she'll think she can just toss you aside on a whim. Play hard to get, dude. Make her work for it if she really wants you back.

Because at that point you have your answer. Up till then you're most likely reacting to what she says and does because you want to be viewed favorably. So unknowingly you're probably changing your behaviour to get a favorable reaction from her.

After she rejects you you have your answer. So at that point you're probably reverting to your true authentic self. At that point you're not seeking a favorable reaction from her. She likely notices the change in you behaviour. You're not giving her noticeable attention anymore. And while maybe she still doesn't want you, she does want your attention still.😆

The pressure is off because the potential for anything to happen is gone. If the potential is there, you're more likely to act a certain way to impress someone and therefore less relaxed.
