You always hear about crazy cat ladies with dozens of cats but you never hear about crazy dog ladies (OR men) with dozens of dogs! Why?

What makes them crazy? Are they crazy SO they collect cats or do they collect cats and THEN go crazy? Does one cat make them crazy enough to get a second one and then that makes them crazier and want to get more so, the more they get, the crazier they are? Or, do they just flip out one day and start going. "CATS!! I NEED CATS! LOTS AND LOTS OF CATS!! GIVE ME ALL THE CATS IN THE WORLD!! I DON'T CARE IF THEY HAVE RING WORM AND MAKE MY HOUSE STINK AND COMPLETELY UNLIVABLE, I NEED MORE CATS!! I HAVE AN EXTRAORDINARILY LARGE SUM OF MONEY THAT I NEED TO SPEND ON CAT FOOD, KITTY LITTER AND SCRATCHING POSTS!!"

It's the cats that take them to loonieville. They have 3 litters a year. A close friend of mine had a brother that lived at the end of a street next to woods. This guy, a great guy, fed at the least 50-60 cats and had names for most of them. He was married and worked at Ocean Spray, the juice company in Sulphur Springs and she worked as well. He was a lady killer in high school. At 45 years old and about 75 pounds of tummy he still had the most lighthearted manner. He also had a Harley. Buy he was not crazy, a bit eccentric but 90% sane.
