What was the dumbest reason why you were called misogynistic?

I watched a video on instagram where a man said "girls who don't want to have children are a red flag". Guys, isn't a red flag just a phrase you can freely use to say there is no way you would date some type of people?

He was called a misogynist for calling women girls. He was called a misogynist for using the phrase "red flag". Some women claimed that demeaning not wanting to have kids as a red flag is misogynistic. I replied " I am a woman and I do demean not wanting to have kids as a red flag. Menaing I won't date such a man. Does my preference make me misogynistic too?"

To this she replied "Yes".

This was the dumbest reason why I was called a misogynist.

The most absurd thing is that one of those women called me a misogynist.

2 absurd things

1) A man who doesn't want to date a woman who doesn't want to have kids is a misogynist.

2) A woman who doesn't want to date a man who doesn't want to have kids is a misogynist.

It is only ok when you don't want to date people who want kids but misogynistic if you don't want to date people who don't want kids.

Stating facts that women aren't as physically strong, suggesting motherhood is fulfilling and many women cannot make it in the top 1% of workaholic carrerists, stating men and women have the same value but different roles, take your pick. Nothing that means anything to me. I know a great deal of women who do not constantly throw around that word like a pebble with which to vent their insecurities at people. Contrary to what liberal sex-striking women might think we conservative men do not need you to be promiscous, as we never intended to lay with you in any case.

This is simple miscommunication. No, "red flag" doesn't just mean it's not your preference. It means it is a sign of something bad, like a character flaw or potential danger. Not wanting kids as a red flag is saying there's something wrong with women who don't want kids. That can be considered mysoginist because it aligns with the mysoginist belief that women's main/only purpose in life is to have kids.

As for calling women "girls," that's often unconscious, but also aligns with a mysoginist belief that women are more naive, childlike, and should stay under the control of men in their lives. Men can be full fledged adults, but women must remain innocent and/or immature "girls."

Anyway, I've never been called a mysoginist. Back when I was one I only hung around other mysoginists, and of course they never cared or called me out on it. Lol
