I've talked several times with this shy, quiet girl I really like. I just want to get to know her better because she fascinates me. She lives with her boyfriend, so I'm careful not to cross that line. I don't ever flirt or anything. I'm kinda shy myself anyway.
She always seems really nervous around me and seems to look down a lot, plays with her phone and her hair when I talk to her. She'll answer me and stuff, but she'll only look up every so often to smile or laugh or say something and then look down again. But she'll look up and talk with other people like normal, so maybe I creep her out or something, I don't know. Even so she always seems to be nearby.
Then recently I saw her name pop up on a friend's Facebook post. I messaged her just to say hi. I wasn't making a friend request or anything, just said that I saw her name and thought I'd say hi. Then almost immediately she blocked me, didn't even reply or anything. I really was shocked because I had no indication ever that there was any problem between us.
Since then I've really tried to kinda avoid her and leave her alone. That's obviously what she was telling me. But now I see her always hanging around where I am even more than before. She'll find where I'm sitting and sit where she can see me or be close by. If she doesn't know where I'm sitting at first, she'll quietly move closer to me when she finds me.
I don't get it. I feel like I want to at least say I'm sorry if I scared her or creeped her out, but since she blocked me, I feel like it's up to her if she wants to talk to me. Yet she keeps following me around, and maybe that's her shy way of trying to tell me to talk to her.
Should I approach her? Did her boyfriend make her block me? Is she just following me because I creep her out and she wants to know where I am to avoid me or something? I'm really at a loss.
