What is your spirit animal?

Question

My spirit animal (bird) is the Hawk.

For me, hawk represents freedom and destruction of evil.

And I hate snakes, hawks prey on snakes so that's another reason why I love Hawks!

If possible, i would soar through the open skies as a Hawk!

I think a cat lol. When I got my cat, I noticed how good he was at communicating with me. One night I had a dream (this is really cheesy for a grown man but nonetheless it's true) we were running around outside and he wanted to take me home.

For some reason I was lost. I noticed that in the dream I was me but somehow was able to jump over fences easily and i felt extremely nimble. I realized I was a cat in the dream and he nonverbally told me we're friends forever. I was following him back home and he would constantly look back as if saying keep up!

When I woke up he was sleeping on my chest with his head on my face and he looked at me and licked my face. I was groggy and I looked at him and was like wait... did you have that dream with me lol.

He's my best bud.

I don't think people understand what a spirit animal is. You can't just pick your favourite animal. That's now how it works. Spirit animals come fromt the other realm to visit you as a messenger. You don't pick it... they pick you

As someone from an Irish background, my celtic ancestors believed in spirit animals. So, to those who think it's "cultural appropriation" just because they heard that online, are wrong. MANY cultures had such beliefs.

Anyway, to answer the question. A bear alongside a white fox came to me in a dream one time. So, those are mine.

Oh, I love this question! Just for fun, I took a little quiz and got dolphin, which is fitting:

I have tried to follow Chekotay's Guide for finding a Spirit Guide (Star Trek Voyager Season 1 Episode 6 the Cloud) many times, and I never created a connection with an animal.

I did create a connection with the planet though
