I went on a date with a woman yesterday, and afterwards she texted me saying I was even more handsome in person. I've always thought I was ugly. Do you think it's possible she's just lying to make me feel better?

One thing a lot of men don’t predict about women is that women will often not have views about how cute or ugly a guy is, have different views about how cute or ugly a guy is, not care how cute or ugly a guy is, or prefer a guy less cute than others, since it means less cheating or chance of break up. I tend to avoid alpha males because I assume they will be picky and disloyal.

I doubt she was lying, many men don’t know how to date flattering photos of themselves, so it’s possible that whatever photos she’d seen of you before meeting you made you look bad. So you’d look better in person.
