My girlfriend of 15 months has a crush on another guy. Should I dump her?

Well, my girlfriend and I had some relationship issues a few months back, mainly with her being so stressed with her life she took it out on the relationship and we ended up temporarily splitting. Once we got back together, however it was great. We were better than we ever were before. My girlfriend got really dependent on me in the start of the relationship, which caused her to lose her friends. So, lately there was this guy who kept texting her. I didn't like him, and his texts were obvious that he had a thing for her. My girlfriend kept claiming it was just a friend, and when I asked her to text him "ttyl, with my boyfriend." she refused. So later on, he confessed his feelings for her. (He's short, I am 6"5') So I instantly but in and intimidated him. She told me she never liked him and she just wanted some friends. So I called him over when I was with her so we could just talk, and when he came over I expressed that she and I have a great relationship and he has no part of it, and if he tries it won't end well. I ask my girlfriend to say something and she refuses.

So he leaves, and I look at her and say, "Glad that is over and done with. Its not like you liked the guy or anything." And she looks at me, unable to say anything. Turns out she liked him for a month, since our little break up, and she told him she liked him on Sunday. She had invited him over the day previously because she wanted to tell him it never would have worked and she loves me, but I have to take that with a grain of salt. I storm out, threatening to break up with her. She told me she loves me, she realized how much of an idiot she had been and she wants things to work again, but I don't know. I feel like a huge idiot for talking that guy down when I had no idea what was happening.

Everybody has crushes , if your girlfriend is with you she loves you and wants you not nobody else if she wanted him she would've been with him after the break up she would have sed no to getting back with you , its going to take a while to trust her and get over it but eventually you will . If it helps tell her to stop talking to him to gain your trust back. I know how this feels and it left me sad and disaapointed for a couple of days

If you trust her stay with her! I would have never got back together with her in the first place my sayin is they are a ex for a reason but that's me! If you feel that you got something special stick with it! Just make sure she is honest and trustworthy! But I think she also should stepped up and said something to him! Good luck

I don't see how you could ever really trust her. She "wanted' to tell the guy it wouldn't work out, but never did. She is keeping him on the back burner, just in case you two don't work out. She expressed her feelings for the guy. I would leave her. She lied about them being just friends. She wanted the attention from another man while you were with her. Get out!
