Why does she go from very outgoing to shy around me?

she went from outgoing to shy around me. we started off as small talk I approached her. then we talked about how she is newly single and about her past relationships. she asked me for advice. she gave me a brief history about her we been talking since. now a week later she went from outgoing to shy around me like her confidence level went all the way down. I have sense of humor I can make anyone laugh including her that's might be another reason why she like talking to me. she always laugh and smile when we are talking. one day we was with my friend and she was with me and I'm telling jokes as usually out of no where she tells a joke. it was corny but I laughed because I thought it was cute she tried to make me laugh.she also being more goofier like me this past week.but when we are one on one she is like a shy little girl but why the sudden change from outgoing to more on the shy side?

It could be that she's becoming more cautious around you, which could be because of what you know about her or something is going on with her that she's keeping to herself, or it could be that she's starting to like you more than just a friend. That's what I think could be the possible reasons anyways but there's no guarantee that I'm right or not, just a few of my guesses.

Oh geez. I did this around my last boyfriend and he held it against me. He was like, you're my girlfriend, you don't have to be shy... it didn't help. Let her open up to you over time. She's probably realizing she likes you even more... and that's probably scary!
