we are friends from high school, and we saw each other on new years. she was snuggling with me for 80% of the night, and when I asked her at the end of the night what her favorite part of the party was, she said "probably our snuggle time downstairs" (nothing else happened) because I didn't want to take advantage of her being hammered. she says that she doesn't remember any of that night, and I am wondering if I should pursue her, or if she thinks of it as "one drunk night" I just want to know if she has felings for me or if it was only because she was drunk...

She obviously remembered the cuddling. It's a toss-up brother. She could've said that as a hint that she likes you and wants you to make a move. Or could've been just the only thing she remembered or being nice. Honestly, when a girl says or does something when they're drunk, I don't overanalyze. Some people act totally different, usually unintentionally, when they're drunk as opposed to when they're sober.

Although, I think you should go ahead and hang out with her in some way. I'd suggest coffee if you think she'd like that just to catch up. If she accepts, great! If not or she sounds hesitant, it might have just been a one time thing.

Props to you for not taking advantage of her though.

No. It does not mean she's interested. Some girls are happy drunks where they like to hug and touch people more (like me) and some aren't. But I cuddle and hug on anyone if I'm tipsy. I have and it was like the best hug ever. I hugged him all night but it sent the wrong message because he tried to ask me out the next day and I was NOT attracted to him at all. Now if she says her favorite part is the snuggle time, she might like you or she just might like to flirt more when she's drunk. If she's like cuddles with you when she's not drunk, obviously she has feelings for you.

while I agree with the other commenter about it being a toss up, as a girl, when I'm drunk, I am more forward than I would be normally with guys that I like/am attracted to you. The fact that she said her favorite part of the night was you guys snuggling, it seems like she has some feelings for you. As they say, in vino veritas.

Not really, I know a lot of girls who will just cuddle with anyone doesn't matter if they know them or not, they just get really friendly
