Does drunk affection mean anything?

Theyre's this guy that I had sex with months back but this was the only time we've hooked up. he's genuinely a girl shy kind of guy when he's sober. But every time we're drunk together he's always around me and sitting next to me and laying on me. We've slept the night together at a party but nothing else happened besides cuddling that night. He was holding my and and even continued cuddling me when we woke up the next morning. Does this mean anything or is he just desperate for affection?

I think you do what you want to do when you're drunk but you you don't limit yourself. In that case, if the guy is shy, I suppose that he has feelings for you but doesn't know about you or he isn't completely certain about it and is waiting for you to make a move.

Send him signals or simply ask him in front, i'm pretty confident he will answer you honestly.

When you are drunk, you dare more. If he is only showing this behaviour with you, he probably likes you more than other girls. If he would just be desperate for affection, he'll probably try with any girl around him, and not looking for you every time. If you like him too, you could try to get closer to him when he isn't drunk and see how he reacts.
