7 Things I Wish Girls Knew About Masculine Men

Masculine Men want a battle to fight. Fighting for something he believes in is at the core of what it means to be a man. This can mean being a literal warrior. Most men, however, have a more metaphorical battle to fight. That battle can be anything from volunteering or missionary work, to building his own personal business, to climbing to the top of Mount Everest. This "battle to fight' is striving towards a goal that some deem as "impossible" or "not probable"

Masculine Men want an adventure to live. The adventure is about the thrill he gets from doing. It is about the adrenaline of the moment Some men find their adventure in driving fast cars, others in closing sales, still others in thrill-seeking activities like bungee-jumping or sky-diving. These are the stories he’ll tell his grandkids — or the ones he may want to skip until they’re old enough ;)

Masculine Men desire a beauty to pursue. Of course, a beauty to pursue is a woman. Every man wants a beautiful woman in his life, and for more than just sexual reasons. Wining the heart of a beautiful woman is a challenge that gives men some sense of "yeah I'm the man" and the thrill of the chase is very exciting. Now some men claim they hate to "chase" women and those who play hard-to-get are annoying. I'm not saying they like women who purposely run away from them and play mind-games, men like high-value women who are genuinely not an easy catch.

Masculine Men are just as emotional as women. He just doesn't have hormonal mood swings and doesn't display his emotions the same way. Sometime it's hard for a guy to figure out what exactly he is feeling and to put it into words. So don't be cruel or disrespectful thinking he's a guy "he can handle it."

Sexuality gives him a sense of love and validation. He wants to be a "magician" in the bedroom (or kitchen, or bathroom, or living-room or airplane restroom etc). His skill and your reaction to it can make him feel a sense of love, acceptance, and validation.

Respect is # 1 most important thing. If he doesn't feel like you respect his decision-making or opinions, he will feel unloved. It is really that simple.

Freedom is very important to him. He must feel free in your presence or he won't be happy. You let him feel free by not trying to change him or nag him; by just accepting him where he is at in his journey.
