Let me make it simple for you guys and men out there. Yes we may not be perfect but neither are women or girls. If your a nerdy guy who likes to play video games be you. Obviously have ambition and stand up for yourself but don’t get sucked into this trap of women telling guys/men how to act. I have tried to cater to the needs of girls and that never worked. Doesn’t matter if you lift weights or go to grad school or have your own apartment. Just have confidence and be you, simple.

On a personal note, I run 5 miles per morning 5 days per week. The vast majority of people I see out there also running are women of all ages and men over 40. I guess guys my age are sleeping in or playing video games while 60 year old women are exercising. Sad commentary

Alright so here’s the thing. I just turned 18 three months ago. I’m still in high school. I haven’t experienced men so much as I have boys, who generally tend to be very self-obssessed, careless, and immature. Do the same problems from childhood play out into adulthood? What am I missing when I hear the numerous women on this site saying “masculinity is dead”? What are their exact expectations? What are some examples of shitty behavior?
I do agree with you that there are parts of this world where men have become more feminine than ever. It is up to them, however, to live their life however they want. You and I don't and probably shouldn't have a say in that.

I think it has to do with the fact that most men nowadays are paper shovers or techies , rather than blue collar workers or construction workers like they were before. You don’t need to be a manly man to be a paper shover or a tech nerd
I remember tuning in late on some radio talk show, and a woman was saying that "testosterone serves no purpose in today's world". I don't know who she was or what kind of "expert" she thought she was, but I thought that was so low class.

Well you're overall right but I just don't know it it's decreasing. I guess I have a lot of biological masculine traits or high testosterone levels since I'm pretty hairy for my age and I hit puberty when I was between 10-11. And dominance doesn't have to be a masculine trait.
Wow never thought that my low testosterone (even with treatment) was such a discrase to the males of my species. I have not had normal levels my whole life and have been taking supplements since discovered. This is also not a problem developed by men themselves. We are adapting to the times. We are no longer a hunter and gather species. Technology is changing us. I hope you find satisfaction in the awnsers you receive.
Loved the take. People need to stop saying that masculinity is bad. Now I am not talking about fanatic masculinity with no emotion at all, but men today became too weak and feminine. I think it's due to society nowadays that not addressing a line between assertive and opinionated to offensive and violent. Also, maybe to fast food culture, men have lack of testosterone... Bad nutrition.
If you want a real man to take responsibility for making money and providing for kids don't get all feminine and sensitive when he wants to do it his way. Let him take ownership, don't neuter him.

I think men are becoming more like women and women are becoming more like men. Eventually there will be no difference and it will be impossible to tell them apart.
