I'm inclined to agree with @Slim57. This take sounds like man bashing. The way it's written is lacking in nuance. By all accounts, it's important to bring about awareness of such things as cat calling and domestic violence (e. g., the Ray Rice incident in 2013). Domestic violence is bad, along with an assortment of other toxic behavior many men partake in. That said, there are numerous articles she published about pretty much the exact same thing on this platform. It's a little mundane to write about essentially the same issue in the exact same way. There are bad men out there. Ray Rice is one of those men. He knocked out his then-fiance. Physically, he's a big, strong man. Mentally, he's weak for not showing self-restraint. The way Wow Girl responded to this thread isn't particularly nuanced or intelligent. It's a little petty how she worded it, I think. The arguments made in this article sound more like complaints. You're not the only one to pick up on the negative writing style evident in Wow Girl's writing, @Slim57. It's sad, really.
