Dream about my crush and his ex girlfriend? help

I had a dream I was living with my crush and his on/off girlfriend who he split up with 2 years ago and there was flirting going on between me and the guy.He had an argument with his on/off girlfriend and I walked downstairs into the kitchen and seen them passionately kissing. I acted unfazed by it and tied my hair up while they were kissing and later I was chatting to him on msn and he told me he had feelings for me even though in reality he said he doesn't want to be more than friends with benefits.

What does this mean?

the msn part was in the real world, he broke up with his ex 2 years ago, not me. I went out with him for a short while a few months ago but decided I wasn't for him.

But I'm confused: was the MSN chat a a part of your dream, or was the chat in the real-world? And if it was real-world, why are you still talking with a guy who you broke up with over 2 years ago and wants to use you for FWB?

Do you want FWB? If not, I vote for no. Too many girls end up hurting themselves by getting into FWB hoping that he'll magically change.
