Does mirroring someone mean you like them?

So I kinda get a feeling this guy likes me. He stares at me in class, but I always thought that could be just because some people just stare without realizing, but today he mirrored what I did. It wasn't a simple gesture, I was playing with my earring on my earlobe and noticed he was staring at me whilst holding his earlobe? Does this mean anything?

If people mimic body language/motions it typically causes the other person to take a liking to them faster. So if you wan't someone to like you as a friend or more then mirroring their movements wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yeah, he probably likes you. I think psychologists say that "mirroring" is an indicator of attraction.

I mirror people all the time (unintentionally of course) and am not attracted to the people I mirror. I think it has to do with subconcious drive to understand people, not necessarily attraction.
