Improve personality and self-esteem and a big one is confidence, woman really love it when men are confident in a non cocky way. Also working on your physical appearance, just simple as different clothes can change your attractiveness.

Well, have a look at your facial structure like rounded or something else and then decide if facial hair will look good on you or not and which style will look better, the same goes to your haircut, your face needs attention as much as your body structure, your clothes or accessories or anything that is about you. Some people look better with their cheek bones appearing and some others look better with a "healthier look" so try to find what fits you more and always remember that beauty is subjective. :)

Writing that you're "physically ugly" and asking what you should do made me think you were under the impression all women found you ugly.

You should know regardless that no person is ugly to everyone and that you Can most definitely get a girl.
You need to make sure you're looking in the right places and picking the right kinds of women. You should also work on rebuilding your confidence and liking who you are, because that is the only time when other people will like you too.

I probably misunderstood your question and took it as you feeling sorry for yourself for being ugly. My point was that it's unhealthy to do that because no one is ugly to everyone and you are also holding yourself back from improving other qualities you can change to help you get a girl.

I would say people that struggled to success end up smarter and better than the ones spoofed it. And those spoon fed it, aren't really successful. Just having mainly wealth passed to them. That's all. If they don't find a way to keep it up, it all goes away eventually.

@miserybusiness and @GoldCobra that's actually not true. The face is one of the fat storages that the body uses, and for some people it's the main one. Therefore, consistent weight lifting and cardio can (and does) improve you face, because it takes some fat off. Besides, by working out in the gym you increase your testosterone levels, which will also make your face more mainly.
So yea, working out can and does change your face.

It does offer good advice but most of it is trash. Watched it cause I heard about it and regretted it almost immediately. Basically it's common sense about dating targeted to low self-image people. And most of it isn't even true. I think one of the "rules" were you need to show a woman you're good at something... So if you play guitar, the movie wants you to bring it out to every social interaction you are in, cause it's the only way you're getting some action... -.-
I am kind of an anti-modern feminism but this movie makes woman seem like objects. You have this set of rules you need to follow to "get them" like what the hell. Then people get surprised it doesn't work that way back in real life.
