What does it mean when a guy keeps calling you his good luck charm?

I was hanging out with a guy friend a couple of days ago and we were with a group of friends, but separated from the group and played arcade games and he kept calling me this.

It means nothing until he progresses your friendship to a relationship. Guys can say hundreds of things but only mean it when they want you to be exclusively theirs. Enjoy being you, don't hide yourself and live your life free.

I'm am. He even knows I have a thing with someone else who is in our friend group. I just asked/ wanted to know because he's been acting... different with me lately.

What do you mean by...' a thing with someone else?' Are you confusing matters? Why are you having this thing with someone else when you like this guy? Be single if you like this guy. If he's acting differently, why does it have to be about that girl and not about you?

Well, by a thing... I've been kind of seeing this guy for a couple months now. We aren't exactly dating, but we are more than friends. He knows that. I like him, but I don't want to get my heart broken so I'm not exactly trying to be more than friends with this guy. I don't know how this guy feels about me so I don't want to assume things and then screw it all up. Also what do you mean by your last comment. Sorry, I read a question similar to yours re a guy who may like the other girl. Life is full of pain, don't be so afraid of discomfort because fear is a whole other ball game of torture to self. If you like this guy, and he keeps calling you his charm, ask him directly why he says that when you are in a casual affair.

Well, he would be playing the games, but he would always win when I was around. But even when he wasn't doing that great he would still call me his good luck charm.
