The reason she is right is because of the weight of muscle vs the weight of fat. As a 6 ft male, you even if all your extra weight was in muscle, 160 is too skinny, if your extra weight is in fat, then 160 is perfect. I am a 6 ft with a decent muscular build and I weigh 185 lbs, with no fat or muscles, I would weigh about 110 lbs. But that 75 extra lbs of weight still doesn't make me look fat because about 15 lbs of that is fat, 9% of my body mass, and the leftover 60 lbs is muscle, but the fat and muscle both take up the same amount of space on my body, because muscle weighs 4 times as much per cubic inch than fat does, so I can weigh more than a person that is 2 times my size of their mass is mostly in fat. So skinny is relative depending on if your talking about muscle or fat, but unless you have 0% body fat (which is unhealthy) than 160 lbs for a 6 ft male is too skinny.

lol yeah it's too skinny. I'm 175 lbs and 10% bodyfat, man, and I'm only 5'7. Look up Stronglifts 5x5 to pack on some more beef.
Don't try and purposely lose weight right now, cuz you sound fine. But it's more a matter about physical appearance and where the weight goes (and muscle vs fat)- for some that might be too low and others too high, but I wouldn't stress about it.
A new study that I beleive shows that a 6ft male over 170 lbs is overweight.
So I think your just fine. Don't gain 10 lbs please

ok so I’m 6 ft nd 163, n honestly I still think I’m skinny, I go to the gym and eat, so I look toned but I still think I’m just not in the ideal weight
(dif people have different bone density n muscle density so they might make 160 look bigger or smaller) and then bmi comes in to play as well so it’s a lot of factors to take into count
Depends on a number of factors but 160 is probably very close to, but not actually, underweight.
I weigh 162 at 6 foot. I look like a ufc fighter at weigh ins. So probably too skinny but most of its muscle. I have 5% body fat
I'm 147 at six feet. I'm trying to get UP to 160.
