Texted a guy with read receipts on and he hasn't read the text and it's been 3 days, but he texted my friend?

This guy is a friend of a friend. We've seen each other at pregames before but didn't actually met until about 3 days ago. It was a crazy night. We ended up making out at a bar a lot and he left and texted me and then i told him to come back so he did and we got late night pizza with our friends. And we were making out there and on our walk home. I went to his place nothing happened except just touching and kissing. Then I woke up at my apt in his shirt b/c i left my shirt and bra at his place. I texted him asking if he knew about parts of the night i couldn't remember and apologized if i did anything embarrassing or dumb. He read it and responded an hour later and laughed saying he didn't remember much of those parts either and he's sure he was more embarrassing than me (I was drunk and he was high/drunk). I responded another hour later and laughed and told him ok that makes me feel better and asked if my shirt was there just to be sure and told him how i think i have his and he never responded. I asked one of our mutual friends on day 2 if she could ask him b/c he didn't read my text and he responded to her the next morning laughing and saying oh yeah it is. So my question is basically why did he respond to her but not me especially since it's my clothes? I'm not mad just confused. I'm attracted to him so if something were to happen again I wouldn't mind but maybe he doesn't wanna see me again or feels weird about everything?

I also forgot to say i accidentally called him today too! i meant to call my friend that's above his name in my contacts and didn't realize it until after it rang twice and then I hung up and didn't do anything, but i swear i'm gonna look like a stalker now or clingy.. :(

If he responded to your friend, I would say he probably isn't interested in more than just that one hookup... It's possible he didn't see it, but that's pretty unlikely. You can ask again just in case and, if he doesn't respond, drop him. It's only as embarrassing as you make it.

thanks for the advice, but i'm just confused b/c I wasn't trying to hookup with him again though I just asked about my clothes. I just meant that if it happened again i wouldn't mind but i wouldn't go out of my way to meet up with him.

Yeah, I don't know why he wouldn't just give you your clothes back. I find it a little weird.

He probably got lazy and didn't feel like answering. Guys are like that. They don't want to open the message because it will show its read and then that gives us women a reasons to get mad :p or he could just be interested in in your friend.
