so, this is how everything started.
I moved to new high school as a senior, I took fitness and made this girl. I didn't notice her existence until the second week of school, sometime around the week I caught her eyes staring at me for few times (friendly way I assume) and I thought she's just curious about me since my school barely have anyone Asian dudes(please be anonymous about your answers since I gave out my ethnicity I don't want any crap going, and I only want to be more specific so you guys could help me out =P ) Also she has a friend who she met since grade 9 (9th grade)
Weeks past by nothing much really happen, the stare kept on going, she always look away once I caught her. when ever I try to start a conversation she either look down at the floor, or look away, takes a while to response, usually a 1 word answer (I know about open ended questions but that's later on =P) from then on I assume she's shy and might be interested in me.
I been trying to talk to her, and one day her friend (the one I mention above) told the teacher that she's going to away for a school trip for 3 days.Then I went up to her (the shy girl) and ask if she's going to the trip also. The next 2 days she was away and I assume that she lie to me or something but I also thought about her being sick and stayed home.
The day she came back which is a Friday. She was in the hall way of the girl's change room. I pass by with my gym mate and I saw her leading against the wall and look really tired. so I walk straight up and open the door while there wasn't too many girls around and said "So.. did you threw a party or something for the past 2 days?" "no, I was sick." she said "oh, I thought you threw a party for 2 days and day 1 for your friends and day 2 for your family" then I asked for when is her birthday, I gave her mine. Finally I told her "Get better =)" with a smile on my face. turned around and wave.
So that's some background information. On monday I saw her and I ALWAYS have Gatorade with me and she saw me with a pack of those and randomly asked me "you always have one of those"
then I'i like "ya...oh btw I'm sick because of you!"
she react with "oh... I'm sorry" (sounded lke she has no interested in me)
since then she opened up and started talking to me
2 days ago, we were running together at the end of the class, and once the class ended, I asked her for pen and paper and said "can you write down your number?"
"why?" she asked
"because I enjoy talking to you and I barely see you in school" I said
then took her a while and she was looking down, and told me that she has a BF! then she's like "so ya no..."
"you can add me on Facebook" she said.
After that she gave me her msn. Then she still stare at me when I'm not looking (I would say...) when I try to get her attention she avoids me and pretend I don't exist in the class. And I couldn't find her anywhere in school since then =((
please help I'm so confused..

I believe that she doesn't have a boyfriend and just want to get to know me a little more before anything happens. but I thought about her having a boyfriend too.

oh! when I compliment her eyes is so nice that I would stare at them the whole day, she blushed and turned around but that was before she opens up to me.

maybe I'm speed things too fast? I really regret of asking her number but that's like the only chance I could get to know her by texting.
tomorrow I'm going to tell her that I wanted her number is only for txt and I won't call without her permission
