He says hi to me in the hallway everytime he sees me, i say hi back shyly. I really think he's cute but I don't know what to do? He never talks to me in class but always or mostly always acknowledges me in the hallway.

I think you have a crush on him, he probably dosen't know you like him. Probe more (not directly) if he likes you as you can face embarrassment if you go on the assumption he likes you! Be true to your self and think if you really have a crush, if yes your wanting him to like you subconsciously might make you think he's after you!
