Does it mean anything when a guy keeps telling me hello?

There’s this guy at work who always says hello to me many times a day. Especially when we are in a group or a big meeting. He says hi to me in front of everyone and it draws attention cause everyone looks over at me even when he’s already told me hello earlier that day. He won’t do this to anyone else. Every time he passes by me he says hello and I pass by him several times a day.

Ask him if he knows any other words, because there is only so many times you can listen to that one!

He seems to be interested in you in a way that is distant and dosed. The reason for doing this in front of others may be either to make yourself look good to others, to let others know that you are interested in you, or both.
