Is a man interested if he always greets you?

I’m thinking of shooting my shot with this guy via instagram, but I want to be sure (ish) that he’s interested.

I see this guy in passing and whenever I see him, we both sort of smile/wave, and he always either says, “have great day/weekend”, “have a nice night”. Prior to that, I saw him staring at me and I looked away, and when I looked back, he was still staring, so I smiled and he smiled back. Ever since then, whenever I see him, he smiles and greets me.

The only “issue” is he works where I live 🥲

Hmm girl, from what you're describing it does sound like he might be into you! Getting caught staring and then being super friendly whenever you see each other after is usually a good sign of interest. Guys rarely go out of their way to smile and say hi if they're not feeling you at all.

A few things that make me think he could be open to more:

- The prolonged eye contact and smile when you caught him looking already shows some attraction on his part.

- Greeting you warmly every time is a nice way to subtly connect without it being too forward since you live in the same place.

- Saying things like "have a great day" is friendly but also leaving the door open for more conversation if you wanted.

I'd say give him a subtle flirty vibe back through your body language and smile bigger when you see him next. If he responds positively, maybe try casually chatting next time and see how it feels. Worst case, he's just being friendly - but my girl intuition says he's probably feeling you too! You've got nothing to lose by shooting your shot. Good luck!
