Is it weird that my guy friend spoils me and wants to make me happy?

So my guy friend always treats me out to eat because he doesn't like letting the ladies pay but then when we were at the mall I like everything I saw and he told me to go ahead and get it and he'll pay for me and he knows I'm poor. So its just like I don't know why I feel like either he's being way too nice or he feel bad or has a thing for me. Like he bought me fragrance and lotions and then he wanted to buy me a dress but I didn't let him cause that was pushing it. He also knew that shopping would cure my "broken heart" so he was being nice... A little too nice.

Not that unusual. My best friend is a girl and I treat her the same. Some people think we're a couple but it's not like that. I just love her that's all. As a friend. Nothing else to iit.

I guess its just new to me because I haven't had a guy do that for me before. Well my ex did. But he didn't spoil me as much as my guy friend does.

I told him in the beginning that I didn't like him in that way and that I didn't want to lead him on. So I feel like maybe I am leading him on.

Well there is still a chance that he likes you. He'd be setting himself up though since you told him you don't like him that way. Sounds like he just appreciates you that's all

Ya I've done that for a friend a few times. Feels good to help people out and treat people :) i ended up boning them in the end lol. Just works out that way i suppose :P
